Brian Lynch’s Third Coast Quintet Premieres Saturday, June 10th at Milwaukee’s Bar Centro
On Saturday, June 10th, Multi-Grammy® Award-winning trumpeter Brian Lynch will unveil his new Third Coast Quintet at Milwaukee’s Bar Centro in a special concert presented by the Milwaukee Jazz Institute. This new ensemble features Lynch leading a brilliant inter-generational group of musicians hailing from the Milwaukee/Chicago region: alto saxophonist Lenard Simpson, pianist Devin Shaw, bassist Jeff Hamann, and drummer Kyle Swan.
This performance will highlight works from Lynch’s recent and acclaimed Songbook series of albums, as well as selections from his forthcoming 7x7by7 project and new work composed especially for this group.
