ADULT BIG BAND
Go Big!
Led by drummer Dave Bayles, the MJI Adult Big Band includes trumpets, trombones, saxophones, and rhythm section (piano, bass, guitar, vibes, drums). Music performed will include traditional big band swing literature, contemporary works, and Latin-style pieces. This is a great opportunity to play with a full band and learn about styles, techniques, dynamics, and improvisation.

MJI is always happy to welcome new participants. Let us know if you would like to join a small combo, theory class, or the big band even if the current term has already begun.
